How does the rating scale work?
Every tasting is scored out of ten, to one decimal. It’s your personal scale — use it however feels right. Your average shows up in Stats.
Does TARE work offline?
Yes. TARE is offline-first — log a cup in a basement café with no signal and it’s saved on your device. Entries show a Pending badge and sync automatically once you’re back online.
How do I export my journal?
Open Settings → Export, and choose CSV or JSON. You’ll get every tasting in one file, ready to back up or open in your tool of choice.
What’s in the free plan vs. Premium?
Free covers up to 15 total tastings and 5 new ones a day. Premium ($2.99/mo or $19.99/yr) makes tastings unlimited, raises the daily cap to 20, and unlocks the full stats suite and sync across devices.
I paid but Premium isn’t showing. Help?
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us the address on your account and we’ll sort it out.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your tastings, photos, and preferences. Consider exporting a CSV first — deletion can’t be undone.
Is Android available?
Not yet — TARE is on the App Store today, with Android coming soon. Email us to join the Android early-access list.
